Global-BI is a specialty firm that focuses on the IT and Business Domain of “Business Intelligence” popularly referred to as “BI”. The firm has only one goal…to become the premier BI solution provider in the market. BI can mean many things. To us, BI includes (but is not restricted to):

Data Warehousing: We use this definition loosely because it involves many activities such as Data Modeling, ETL, Data Cleansing, and Database work.

Data Integration: Without good data, no BI or business effort (e.g. Basel II) can become a reality. Therefore, we specialize in expediting the data integration and data discovery process through best practices and specialized software.

Reporting and Dashboards: To the end user, BI is what they see, not what happens behind the scenes. So, we strongly believe that any good BI project involves the development of a powerful presentation layer.

BI Analytics: The word “Analytics” has become quite popular these days. Like reporting and dashboards, analytics represent the true “mathematics” of business and hence any BI project that does not address analytics will probably not be entirely complete. We specialize in developing analytics such as Models (data mining, heuristic, predictive, deterministic, etc.) and custom KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) that help drive the core knowledge of business.

Data Mining: We take a very pragmatic approach to Data Mining. We believe data mining is no longer the realm of the “PhD”. Our approaches are simple and focused on achieving ROI for the client. Our goal is not to impress you with complex mathematics but apply proven techniques to classes of problems to produce results as rapidly as possible.
